Central is now proposing a high-class, stylish, enjoyable lifestyle. Beauty industry and fashion retails have increased recently. To match this trend, I decide to put the similar and historical service, Shoeshine, into the Central market. Shoeshine was popular since the colonial period and Shoeshine men usually serve the office worker. A pair polished shoes represent the image and personality of the workers and make improvement on their outlook. It would be important for every office workers; especially they are having an important meeting.
Since 1910, Cochrane Street is famous for bazaars along the street. Therefore, businessmen gathered and form into a rich market. Basic necessities and trendy goods at previous time such as ice cream can be found there. Consequently, local residents love shopping there.
Nowadays, most of the shops become fast food shops or international restaurants and beauty industry. The target customers turn into 3 groups of people:
1. Office workers
2. Tourists
3. Beauty caring customers ( especially female )
